Vita Nova delivers workshops to myriad groups – schools, youth clubs, colleges, treatment centres and conferences.

Vita Nova encourages the writing of its members – and puts this work out to the public through regular performances in the community.

Vita Nova uses performance in its educational and aftercare work.

Vita Nova offers NVQ and LAMDA training to its service users.

Vita Nova’s work as a theatre company relies upon the participation of recovering addicts. In return we offer our volunteers’ opportunities to write, perform, learn acting, lighting and sound, general office and workshop skills and to deliver our educational work.

Vita Nova’s support and signposting to other services – employment, education, housing, medical, social – are key to the care that Vita Nova offers.

Mission Statement

To use the arts and culture, including drama and writing, to inform, educate and inspire those with particular needs, to enable them to build and maintain independent and successful lives in their communities.
